Vermont Ravens Bylaws

ARTICLE I. NAME The name of this corporation shall be the Vermont Ravens Football Cooperative, Inc.

ARTICLE II. PURPOSE The Vermont Ravens will play football throughout New England while gathering fans and becoming role models within our local communities for younger players with our substantially diverse organization. We will educate younger players on various football techniques and proper safety protocols. .

ARTICLE III. MEMBERSHIP The membership includes the players for the team.

ARTICLE V. ORGANIZATION BOARD MEETINGS Board meetings occur at least in February, May, August and November

ARTICLE VII . BOARD OF DIRECTORS The board of directors shall consist of the president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and at least 3 directors. Vacancies are filled by consensus of the board of directors within 60 days of resignations.

ARTICLE XII. FISCAL YEAR The fiscal year shall be from January 1 through December 31.

ARTICLE XIII. FINANCIAL REPORTS AND INSURANCE A financial report will be given at each board of directors meeting including current bank balances and an estimate of current fiscal year expenses and income.

ARTICLE XIV. ASSETS All of the assets of this organization shall, during its existence, be deemed to be held in trust by the board of directors of the organization for the purposes set forth in the objectives and purposes. In the event of a winding-up or dissolution of the organization, after paying or adequately providing for the debts and obligations of the organization, the board of directors shall dispose of any remaining assets by donation to the local youth football program.

ARTICLE XVII. AMENDMENTS TO THE BYLAWS These bylaws may be amended by a majority vote of those in attendance at any board of directors meeting with at least one week’s notice of the changes sent to each board member.
